AMP Research Powersteps

If anyone was thinking about getting the powersteps
for easier ingress into the mighty Titan, I received the
following email response from AMP Research this AM ...

Thank you for your inquiry.

AMP will be releasing power step system for the Titan and Armada
around June 2004. It will be available from Nissan dealers and other
truck accessory shops and should run about $1750.00 for a set installed.
The system works off the door switch and will drop into place after any
door is open. However, the passenger side does not drop down when the
driver's side is opened. The step is sensitive to anything that might
obstruct the operation either downward or upward and will stop under
such conditions for safety
