Should I wax my steering wheel?
I noticed today that the plastic on my steering wheel right next to the volume control is chipping off and reveals a darker color underneath. I think this is caused by the frequent use of this button and my fingernails inadvertently scraping the plastic when I increase or decrease the volume. Can wax be used on plastic parts to provide a "shell" of protection against these scratches?

i guess it wouldnt hurt to try but i have never seen or heard of anyone using that method. but theres a first time for everything in my book
