I think that's just his CAI, not the engine.

You are correct...The 5.7 Hemi is a 348ci motor. I used to have a 5.9 which was Dodges 360ci motor. They stopped making the 360 in 2002.

So thats where he got 360 from...I was just checking back through the thread to see who said that the hemi was a 360ci motor. Then to answer the question, 360 Intakez is just a company that made intakes. They have since stopped making intakes and stricktly do powdercoating now.

I didn't even notice the CAI behind 360. I just assumed it was the engine.

I have a single 125 shot. It is controlled by a WOT switch, and I also have a in hand toggle to activate the nitrous when I'm ready.

Re: A Ram faster than the Titan?

I'm just so confounded by most of you Hemi owners.

Why are you here?????

Why is it that most all of you Hemi owners feel the need to boast or brag about all of your mods????

Who really cares about how fast your truck is with all of these mods......

All it dose is get into a piss'n match with our members, so that must be your reason for it..

If you want to have good debate without the name calling thats all fine and good but when the BS starts getting thick followed by the name calling you guys get what you got com'n.

Deep.

It doesn't need any kind of timing advance when on the nitrous? I ran nitrous in my old camaro, and I had a manual timing advance. Never ran it on a computer controlled vehiclel.

Re: A Ram faster than the Titan?

As for why I am here...I was invited by some of the other Titan owners, and I enjoy reading about all trucks. I am by no means a Mopar only type of guy...I only bought it because it was the best "bang for the buck" truck at the time of purchase. I looked at Ford lightnings, Chevy SS's, and the Hemi, and I got a better deal on the Hemi...I'm not here to brag or boast...I am here to learn and hopefully help a few Titans guys improve the performance of your trucks.

I actually have to pull some timing when I'm using the nitrous. I have to set my superchips tuner down to the 87 octane setting to be safe. Some hemi guys have tried leaving the performance tune installed while on the nitrous, but 4 out of 5 of them have had to replace their motors.

I won't run any nitrous or blower until my warranty is over, still got about 50000 miles to go. I am starting to save for my blower, little here and there. Could always buy another GSXR used for the price of the stillen blower.

That would be too easy though...I find much more pride in beating sports cars with my 5000# truck. Its more rewarding to run 12's in a heavy truck than it is to run 12's in a light sports car.
