My own Service Bulletin?

Dropped her off for service today with 2 issues: Intermittently, driver's window will not go up once rolled all the way down. Only way to fix it is to lower one of the other windows, then try the driver's again. Second, the switch that takes the tranny out of overdrive and allows for manual shifting (I have a bench seat) does not work. Dealer was able to recreate both problems, and thinks they are related, but has no idea how to fix. They are going to notify Nissan and ask for help. Anyone have any electrical problems like these? If you're interested, I'll keep you posted on the outcome.
Still love that truck.

I have the window problem. It has always gone back up after 2 tries though... I have no problem going into manual shift mode (column shifter, too), but I do have the problem where my 4lo light will blink while coasting sometimes (MUCH more often while pulling my trailer) and the indicator that shows the wheels in the dash and illuminates the rear two for 2wd goes completely out. I need to get it to the dealer for that diagnosis. There is a thread on here I'm going to print out and take with me. I NEED MY TRUCK though. Next week I'm using it to haul my trailer all the way past Pittsburgh on Friday night, home again Saturday, and then 9 hours down to Deal's Gap on Sunday.

It's starting to look like there may be a few of these windows that are not working right!! I wonder if they might have gotten a bad shipment of parts or something.

I almost had to leave my window down at work today because the darn thing wouldn't go back up again. Usually if it happens, I can get it to go back up on the second try. It took me about 10 - 15 tries before it finally went back up. Whew.... I think I might be giving the dealership a call this morning. I was hoping to wait for when Nissan had a radio fix, and get them done at the same time. I guess I'll just have to make two trips.

Ditto

Mine does the same thing. It's happened twice. Mine was built on 3-17-04 so it hasn't been fixed yet:-( I'm kind of suprised that I have both the window problem and the radio fading problem. I thought they would have at least fixed these in the production lines by now.

Oh well, I still like my truck and Nissan in general. Every product is going to have QC issues, it's a fact of life.
