Saw my beast!!!

My dealer called me to tell me my beast is in and it is locked saefely in the garage until Monday when they can PDI it and I can pick it up. Just my luck!!! They get on a holiday :-(

Had to bring the family down and take a look. The Sparkle red seems to be a slightly darker shade than the red brawn - could be wrong about that though. The interior leather seats are VERY comfortable but I was surprised that the seats and interior are almost mono colour. It is s light grey throughout with no bluish tinge to the inside seats. I could have swore that when others posted pictures of their leather the seats had a two tone look.? My wife loves the interior colour! She thinks it is better just like it is. By the way, checked out the stitching and it is first class. If the Ford is better, kudos to them but that in no way takes away from this leather and stiching. Both my dealer and I noticed that it is much better than the first one we saw in January.

The rear seat room is remarkable. Put the passengers seat all the way back and I could still strech my legs out completely with my feet under the front seat. There is going to be plenty of room to put both munchkins in the centre and passenger seat and flip up the single seat to allow room for my big dog!!!

I will have lots of other observations when I pick up on Monday. Talk about torture making me wait while it sits alone in the garage.

I also talked the dealer into putting on the paint sealant for an extra $50. Although for this rpice they won't give me the warranty, that doesn't bother me. I might still wax, but this allows extra protection. Is it okay to seal the paint this close after it was manufactured?

Congrats on the titan Keane!! Look @ it this way. While your agonizing about having to wait, so is the titan. I can see it now. Your titan while sitting in the garage is dreaming of sitting in your garage. It's like the titan is saying, I got a family that loves me I will say this about the titan is that it's the funnest truck to drive. I just love driving the and turning heads. Hope you enjoy as much as I do.

thats awesome, i really want to see pics of the sparkle red. btw, get used to the LOOK that people give u. the other day the wife and i went for a walk and afterwards i had to go to sears for a lawnmower part. she sat in the truck and waited. anyways, when i came out she said this guy in a new f150 came driving up and said he loved my truck and didnt think they were out yet (wheres he been). he said he wishes he would have waited and bought a titan (no brainer there).

At least you got the call. Mine is supposed to be in next week but I'm still waiting for that last call. Worst of all is I'll be out of town for half the week.

"The Sparkle red seems to be a slightly darker shade than the red brawn - could be wrong about that though."

When did this color show up? I was at a dealer yesterday and there was no information on sparkel red, only red brawn. Is there a color chip out there somewhere?

You can't get it from where you are. I am a Canuck and it is only available up here. Looking at it again, I might be wrong about it being darker. It could be the same colour with a different name. I would have thought a "Sparkle Red" would have been closer to Candy Apple red but that would be brighter. This colour is closer to maroon. If it is nice tomorrow when I pick it up, I will snap some pictures and post tomorrow night.

These things change color depending on the available light. Look at Briarman's photos and others of the Red Brawn/Sparkle. I'll bet you it's the same color (colour in Canada!).

keane, so glad it's almost yours!!!!! The Easter Bunny brung you a present

Well obviously they offer the "SPARKLE" red to our light in the loafers friends in Canada. That "SPARKLE" name has just an absolutely FABULOUS ring to it.

In the states we get the much more MANLY red "BRAWN".

Makes a whole lot of sense to me...

BTW...I am really just joking and giving you Canucks a hard time.

When I ordered touch up paint pens (looks like two headed highlighters with paint in one end and clear coat in the other end) it came with the name "sparkle red" and "Canada" on them. Called the dealer I ordered from (Courtesy Texas), and was informed that Red Brawn and Sparkle Red are the same thing. They had to order out of Canada because they had trouble getting touch up paint the last month or two.

Also, the company putting on my tonneau had it listed as a 3rd color name I have never heard of, but the same paint code. Go figure.
