No. I think your doors lock automatically if you leave your keys on the seat while you are washing it. Be careful!

Rgiht, they wont lock with the keys in the ignition (thank God). If you take the keys out don't shut them in the cab, you wont have much time.

Of course if your like me and still can't shut the door with all the windows up it doesn't matter

Ok Guys,

I know I should try reading the manual, but I noticed something strange
about the door locks. I never lock my truck at home, and when I get in
it to go pick my daughter up from school, my driver's door is unlocked as
expected, but then I notice when I pull into the school parking lot that
the passenger door is locked. I have to sit in the truck for a few minutes
before getting out, so I take out my key fob and double click the unlock
to unlock both doors. If I get out of the truck right then, the doors will
stay unlocked, but if I sit inside it for a couple of minutes both doors will
relock themselves!

Is this some kind of anti-theft device to keep your truck from being
stolen if you leave the keys in it? I can see where this could be a problem if
you left the keys inside while washing, etc.

It is hard to understand the reasoning for this arrangement.

When your sitting in the parking lot....

You unlocked the doors with the remote. You basically told the truck I am outside of the truck and want to come in (the truck forgot you just drove there and never exited ).

After about a minute the truck is thinking "where the hell is he? he said he was coming in yet he hasn't opened the door. He must have been sidetracked by a cute girl or something. I'll relock my doors and hang out till he decides to return."
