window trim ?

i just got tinted windows on my front sides and was lookin at the window channel tonite and noticed that the piece that touches the window on the inside was tucked down on part of it and up on other parts.

now im not sure if it should be up or down. i think up b/c the part that would touch the window has a kind of felt touch to it. so i tried to get the rest of it pointing up but the part closest to the doorhandle side wont come up. so that got me wondering...up or down?

When window tinters install tint they turn down the trim to get the tint installed properly. When the drying time is up, roll your window down and then back up and the problem will be fixed. At least it has for me the last 8 or 9 times I have had my windows tinted.
