Phone call from Canton

I got a phone call the other day from the truck plant in Canton. They just wanted to know if I was happy with the Titan, and what I liked best about it. Needless to say, I had only good things to talk about, but I did mention the radio fade that many people have problems with (I haven't experienced any myself, but I mostly listen to sports talk and cd's). The lady that I was speaking with then asked if I had experienced any rattles in the dash, which I have heard some, but nothing really annoying. She said to bring it up with my dealer whenever I go in.

Has anyone else got such a call?

2.5 months since I bought mine and no phone call. Guess it is a random thing.

I have had my Titan for about three weeks and last Friday I was called by someone at the plant. She wanted to know about any noises or build issues I had. She did not seem to know of the radio issue. She told me she would call back in three months to check back again. I don't think it was a random call from the direct and repeated questions. They must have some questions about some quality issues. I don't know it's build date but I wonder if the all of the calls were made concerning Titans built at the same time? I would not feel left out if they don't call you....

I wonder if Ford, GM or Daimler/Chrysler do such a thing?

Uh, have you all turned your speed sensitive volume controls off? that probably is causing the radio to fade......

You should probably read all the radio related topics before you make conclusions like that. It is not the SSV.

Arlington,

Yes, we all have turned them off...That is not the problem. Read the numerous threads on here about it.

i have had my titan for about 5 months and i also got the call i did mention the radio, as well as the two sided tape being very cheap, as well as the dash rattling, and the few paint blemishes i had. i did praise the motor and transmission. she said she would call back in a few months.
