There cost is not $1999.00 on the 7 yr/ 100k $50.deductable!
I have this same warranty, the Gold Perfered 7/100k, I to saw there cost book! There cost for this warranty is $1490.00, which is what I payed for it. I to have also never herd about this Platinum plan. On the Nissan warranty Aplacation sheet the the Gold perfered is the best coverage you can buy. There is no Platinum plan on there. They can sell it to you for less that $1999. I also payed only 400.00 over invoice for my truck, and this was back in Dec.

Sure I can fax it to ya. The zero deductable is alittle more money then the 50. I would advise buying the 50 deduc. because if I remember the zero was about $500.00 more. And if you still have your truck after the 3/36 you only pay $50.00 for the warranty work and the plan covers just about everything on the truck! It's the best way to go in my view. And it is transferable to the next owner if you sell.

Alternative Warranty Product

I have been looking into the warranties (service contracts) offered by Warranty Direct. They offer plans ranging from 4yr/60Kmi to 7yr/100kmi, $0, $100, $200 deductible.
After the factory warranty has elapsed you use the policy at the repair center of your choice (hopefully anyway). The pricing is not unreasonable. I asked for info on a 7ry/100kmi policy with a $200 deductible and the additional emmission warranty package -- they priced it at $827 for a RWD CC. It includes wear-n-tear, rental re-imbursement, roadside assistance, and is transferrable.

I have been hard pressed to find anything negative on them ... but I am still looking.

Has anyone out there had any experience with Warranty Direct?

I'm still waiting for my delivery, but I am really considering this.

Do you have to buy from the dealer that you purchase

the truck from or can you shop between dealers? Is it more expensive after you drive the truck off the lot?

After speaking with Nissan about the plans I think the zero deductable is the way to go. It's $50 per item, not per visit!!! You can get a big bill for multiple items on the same visit. The $500 dollars difference could be worth it with a few visits. I suggest you check this out before going that way.

BTW I'm going up to Ft Benning (Columbus, GA) next week and plan to price the plans in Georgia along the way. Might make my way accross the river to Alabama too. Here in FL they are just too expensive.

I'll keep you informed. Looking forward to my first long trip in the Titan. Should be a blast since I'm not in a hurry going up or coming back home.

No you do not have to buy this from the dealer you got your truck from. You can buy it from any dealer that will give you the best deal!
Also you can buy this at any time up to the 3/36 coverage. There is a fee if you buy after 12k I think it's like a $100.00 more.
So don't be in a rush to buy! Take your time and get the best deal you can!
