I paid about that for the platinum 7/100K so you are mistaken as to the plan, or being over charged.

What dealers did you purchase the lower priced plans?
Here in Florida we are being quoted nearly twice your prices.

I noticed your reply...
I should get my Titan in a month.

Did your platinum 7/100k come with zero deductible and did you get it from the dealer?

It was from the dealer with 0 deductable. I love the fact that there is a loaner waiting for my wife when she brings the truck in for warrentee work. Makes life much easier.

I have this exact warranty on my truck and paid $825. Bought from the Nissan dealer at the time of the purchase. The first number they give you is based on how much money they think they can milk out of you. Just like the purchase price of the car it's negotiable, and as you can tell a huge opportunity to make more profit. By my calculations the difference between what I paid and was initially quoted is roughly a full payment or two.

Where's this "Platinum" stuff coming from? Nissan's site only lists the Gold Preferred as the max plan.

Hey Lefty, check with your credit union or insurance agent before you go with the extended warranty offered by the dealer. Often times they are just as good, only lots cheaper.

Maybe I'm hallucinating or been in a deep sleep. I have never heard of a platinum plan. It is not listed on Nissan's site.

According to Nissan these are the Security+Plus plans:

Gold Preferred Coverage
Gold Coverage
Silver Preferred Coverage
Silver Coverage
Bronze Coverage

What's the deal? And once again wher are you getting these deals?

OUCH!! I just bought my Titan on Saturday and they were trying to sell me the Silver Preferred Coverage (7yrs/??miles) for $2400+!!! I had until last night to decide but let the time lapse -- now that I'm reading this thread, I'm glad I did.

I'd like to know if there is anywhere else to buy a warranty that gives you decent coverage without being a total rip-off.

Well guys went back to dealer tonight and there is no platinum package and the deals some of you guys are getting must be because you paid alot over invoice and they are working it into the price.I saw the nissan book with my own eyes and the gold prefered is the best nissan sells and the 5yr 75000 is 1100 their cost and the 7yt 100,000 is 1999 their cost.Im still undecided.

Lefty

Make sure that you are getting a warrenty from Nissan, some dealers will sell a third party extended warrenty.

Also sombody posted up a list of all the warrenties and the prices on here, you should look for that thread.

Regards
