Squeeks and rattles...

The problem is the dealer always let your car sit in the hot sun hours before they get to your car. By that time, the interior is warm thus all the noise are gone and they can't find where to fix. Summer is coming and it seems I'll have to wait until next winter to get them fixed.

I posted how I fixed the instrument cluster squeak in the Problems Area, but no one has responded, since everyone just posts in the general forum.

Not the best instructions, but I hope they helped someone.

Fixed: Instrument Cluster Squeak

I had called Nissan to get an update on the radio and mentioned the dash rattling while I had them on the phone. He told me to tell my dealer to call the tech line and they would tell them where to install foam.
I brought it to the dealer Tuesday and got it back this morning. They said they added foam in several places and so far all dash rattles are gone!
It sux to be without your truck for a day, but the rattling sucked worse.

rattles

To all you guys with dash rattles, until there is a fix, you might try this, if you have a sun shade, put it up, get you a can of WD40, with nozzle attached, spray liberally in all cracks. you may also use silicone spray. this worked for me. I maybe the first to have a windshield replaced, they came out to the house. while they had the glass off, i realized that the front of the dash was poorly supported, i took some heavy foam strips and put it under the front of the dash, the rest is history.(not a rattle since)
