Clash of the Titans: XE Prewired for Brake Controller or Not???

Okay ya'll....

Just got my XE CC 4x2 yesterday, and am going to add 3rd party hitch package and brake controller to pull my 24 ft. Coachmen. Been reading alot of posts here today and still can't tell whether the XE comes pre-wired for the brake controller.

Can anyone with personal experience with an XE give me some answers?

Ok. I see now that you dont have your hitch yet. Sorry. Anyway if you look in you manual it tells that to look under the steering column for a wiring harness that has a white tag on it. This is the prewired brake controller. But if you look under there you probably wont find it. At least I did not find it on mine.

i'm not positive but I think that you have to have the tow pkg. to get the brake control pre wire. that's how mine came anyway.

NO!!! They are not prewired.
