Got an estimate today

Replace SE bumper 448.23
Body Labor 364.00
Paint Labor 184.00
Paint Supplies 115.00
Misc. 10.00
----------------------------------
Total 1,121.23 + Tax

I called my insurance company and she said since I was at a complete stop and not at fault, by making a claim my rates won't go up. I was under the impression that a claim is a claim no mater the circumstance. So, I’m going to turn it over to Allstate and pay the deductible.

It really sux, But what are ya gonna do?

HAha, that's what I do. I never tow anything but still have the hitch and ball.

Sound like a geat idea except in my case the first thing to hit the hitch would be my garage door on the way down.

Add Me To Your List

I am really beginning to see this pattern. My brother Tundra was parked behind me today and I rear ended it pretty badly. So now my baby needs a new bumper.

Hey I think Ford and Dodge are hiring homeless people to drive junkers into any Titan they see to get them on the road before they lose any more truck sells.

Sorry to hear that it happen, when I get my truck I think I will add one of those tow hitch covers that light up when you hit the brakes, kinda like a low third brake light.

I should have said:

all you guys are making it hard for me to get a new taillight assembly . FWIW i was hit infront of my house and the person ran so I really don't even know what hit it. My initial estimate was around 3800 dollars but has since gone up as they decided to replace the storage box as well as a few other things. I should have it back next week until then I'm stuck driving a mitsu galant

Maybe if we buy enough of them the price will drop...

So he was insured by State Farm on an unexpired policy and he backed into you and they won't pay? You might talk to a lawyer about suing State Farm. In my state they have penalty provisions for "bad faith" refusals to pay. You can often find a lawyer on a continget fee basis to press a "bad faith" case against an insurance company. Here is one interesting web site:
