Titan 1--Mercedes 0

I was sitting at a light today when one of those f'n ugly Mercedes G55 suv's pulled up beside me. We slowly took off and he pulled in front of me. I noticed the AMG badge on the back, and thought this might be interesting. We got side by side again at the next light, we looked at each other and I knew when the light turned green it was going to happen. We both punched it, and to my surprise he kept up with me in first, and second....but when the Titan hit third it was bye bye......we got to the next light, and he pulled up and rolled down his window......I yelled out, "and you spent all that money", he said "I guess Ill have to trade it in now", we both laughed. As we pulled away from the light, a cop turned the corner in front of us.....meanwhile we were just doing over 60mph on a local side road.....man was my heart beating in my chest....

Just fyi....Mercedes G55 AMG.....342 hp, 387lb/tq.........

wow, very very nice kill. someday when we start learning and getting more mods for these babies its gonna be crazy. as someone already stated these things are natural born beasts and are waiting to be woken up.

Wow,not bad.Is that the same thing as the M-Class ML55?Guess not,but the same motor?With that kind of power,I would expect it to run very hard.I know very little about Mercedes,but I know that the AMG versions cost about 20-30% more than the stock ones.It was probably a $60,000-$70,000 vehicle.I be pissed if a half priced Mississippi yokel ran with me.Guess the Armada would do the same.They are discounting the Armada around here-New Orleans$29,995 for a base model.Thanks,Charlie

Don't get me wrong I love my Titan and do think the G55 could look better. Oh also you can buy 3 Titan's and have change left over.

But to think the the G55 AMG has nothing on the Titan.

Thats pretty sad when you consider that AMG sells packages for the S-Class Mercedes which cost as much as my entire truck!!! Just the package.
