How long does it take to do a dealer swap? Venting!!!

I ordered my Titan back in January hoping for an April delivery. Unfortunately the dealer did not get an allocation in February so I waited until March for my order to go in. That was OK with me because we really didn't want to get truck until April/May. I ordered a CC 4x4 SE with Big Tow/VDC and the offroad package.

When I found out from this forum that the e-locker was not going to be offered with the Big Tow and VDC I had my dealer check into it. Sure enough my truck was being built with the e-locker but it was not going to have VDC.
That was last Monday and when the dealer called me back with the bad news he had already located a dealer with a truck in NJ that had everything on it that I wanted and it was available for a dealer swap. Today I called him to find out what was going on and he said they would probably have it by Thursday.

How long does this take?? I am sick of the excuses and the waiting......we are just finishing up the paper work.... yadda yadda yadda.....

I told him he really needed to get it here for Thursday because we are going away for a long weekend and I want to take the new truck!! We will see.....

I am getting tired of seeing everyone else enjoy their Titan while waiting for mine, I want to have some fun too....!!

I made the deal on Friday and picked it up on Tuesday. It was about 4 hours away from the dealer.

Bought on Saturday, picked up on Tuesday. The truck had 150 miles when I got it, so it did not come from far away. A side note to that is I could not locate the exact truck I wanted through Nissan's website but my dealer was able to get everything I wanted from another dealer. I even searched that dealer's inventory online but it did not show up.

Congrats!! The dealer did a swap for me and I got it the next day. I was also searching through dealer inventory and couldn't find the one I was looking for. Dealer found one that just arrived the night before, gave me a call, I went in to deal and agree on a price for it and they went and pick it up and had the truck at the dealership the next morning. I didn't even have to leave a deposit and got exactly what I was looking for.

Galaxy black, LE Crew cab, 4x4, off-road, big tow, side airbags, sun roof, DVD. Without Nav. package because I didn't need it and don't want to spend $2200 for it. I rather use that and get a laptop for the truck.
