anyone try to fix the rattle in the dash on the passenger side?

Did anyone do it yourself? If so what did you do?

The rattle in the dash on the passenger side on mine is coming from the plastic vent close to the windshield rubbing against it. Just put a piece of rubber or foam in the corner and that should do it.

that looks like that was it, i haven't driven yet but that sounds like the noise when i pushed on it. Stuffed some rubber in there and i can't make it make the noise anymore. Thanks for the info.

By the way, this forum in way more help than nissan, they said they can only tell the dealrships any information.

I did put some foam under that corner but gained no effect (dealer coudn't duplicate it). I removed the the whole panel and put foam under all 4 corners plus some more along the sides and it was gone for about a week. But it came back but less. Now it happened (when temp is low) only during the first couple miles. I don't understand how it'd rattle in a couple of minutes and then gone completely until the next drive . Now I am not even sure if the rattle came from there, I'll wait until there is a tsb available and bring it back to the dealer.

My glove box door rattled due to too much clearance so I shimmed it.
