I should have my Titan back Tuesday!

she has certainly been missed. The big delay thus far has been getting parts as alot of the parts have been delayed by supposedly being backordered due to large amounts of parts being alotted to the production line. The total damage was somewhere in the 4-5k dollar range though all of it was cosmetic. The final fix was a new rear bumper and trim, fixed tailgate, new storage box, and repaired rear fenders. I suppose the good thing is this is taking the hardway on getting the truck debadged and I'll remove my v8 badges once i get it back. Pics to follow

I picked up my truck complete with debadging of the tailgate and was overall very happy. The work was topnotch and the truck was very clean. I started my ride home and it was nice so I rolled down the windows and everything was going well until i tried to roll the windows up and much to my displeasure the passenger front window would only go about a 1/3 of the way up and then roll itself back down. While investigating this further I found that my passenger side towing mirror is cracked and my suspicion is that the two are related. the body shop wants to look at it so they get first crack, if they are worthless it will have to go to the dealer today as it may rain tonight

Now that really sucks. Sounds like the window is sensing a blocked path and opening back up. A crack mirror sounds really suspicious. I'm hoping to get mine back by the end of the week so I guess I'll be doing a complete walk around.

I brought the truck back this morning and the shop was very apologetic and immediately ordered me a new mirror. As for the window they found that the window had popped out of the track which I find odd since it went down normally. I suppose its a problem I'll keep an eye on its still nice to have my truck back. It sure does beat the rental Galant I was driving
