welp sorry to tell you fellas i sent e-mails long ago. unfortunately Stacey isn't part of the Trucks family any longer. He opened a shop in Tennesee (I think?) and has been doing custom project there. He also has a new show on ESPN of all channels that airs on Saturdays. I e-mailed truck nonetheless after the new jersey titan supermeet this summer including photos and videos of the titan. I wanted Trucks to feel the same excitement for our trucks that we do, and I want them to share it with the national media.. So far I haven't heard a thing.
Here is my e-mail sent on Thu 7/26/2007 12:18 PM:
Hey guys,
First and foremost thank you for having such a great show on television geared towards us truck guys. I've been a long time fan and consistent viewer for a number of years and have enjoyed the show since Stacey was hosting. I really enjoyed project Copperhead because my grandfather used to own a 69 Chevy C-10 with a straight six and three on the tree. Unfortunately the truck rotted away before I got the chance to get my hands on it. Since that truck never became a project I spent a winter restoring a '72 GMC C-15 Dually ultimately making it into a plow truck. Since the winters are becoming more and more mild here in the northeast my dad ended up trading the plow truck for helicopter flying time, and who can blame him??
I'm writing today to see if you have any future projects coming up on the show involving Nissan Titans. I haven't seen anything but was hoping you might feature a Titan on the Powerblock. We don't really have the aftermarket support the big 3 receive and my hope is that more manufacture's will start supporting our model. While we do have some support from Stillen, ProComp, Fabtech, including a supercharger (who wouldn't want that?) I still think there is a lot more this motor is capable of. I just attended a meet in Turnersville NJ with 30 Titans in attendance including one that was supercharged. I also belong to a forum:
www.titantalk.com which has been THE source for anything Titan and an avenue to find those supporting us in the aftermarket. I'd love to see a Titan project on Trucks someday and know a few thousand others that feel the same way.
The meet featured a portable Dyno and I taped a few runs and loaded them to my Photobucket. I've included links below because I want you to get the feel that this truck has, the performance it's capable of, quite frankly I want you to be stoked about the Nissan Titan.

There are a lot of great trucks on Titantalk with various different mods and build purposes. I'm not sure if you follow the CORR series but there are 2 Titans running again this season, but they have built motors featuring custom cams, something no one is currently making for the rest of us. I really hope you guys pick up a project Titan and have at it. I know you won't be disappointed and will have a new found respect for foreign 1/2 tons.
Sincerely,
Tim
Since I orignially composed the letter cams and a few other parts have come on the market for the Titan.. but hey, send in those e-mails, let's get a Titan on the PowerBlock!
