Contact Stacey at Truckstv.com...

Was watching what I though was the latest "Trucks!". He talked about how trucks these days are in muscle wars just like cars were a few years back.

He mentioned the Lightning, SSR, and Dodge Hemi in one breath, without even a hint at the Titan.

I bet if we all emailed them, they'd get a Titan on there... Maybe even put on an exhaust and some other goodies!

I love to watch Trucks! I know the show you are talking about and he didn't mention the Titan because that show originally aired before the Titan was available. Some magazines may have been using preproductions testers, but that was it. I'll e-mail because I want to see the Titan on an episode. I only mention this so you guys aren't too hard on good ol' Stacey!

The shows on now are all re-runs, most are a year or more old. However, sending feedback asking for Titan related products to be shown on the show is a great idea.

Not just products, but maybe 2-3 episodes of tuning one, and then dragging a hemi..

First there was Copperhead...
Then there was Crazy Horse...

Then.. the Titanic!

Send your emails!

Stacey's a good guy. He does say "awesome" a little too much. But if he says it in reference to a Titan, I won't mind.

Wonder why they dumped that other guy that worked with him a couple years back, and then HP TV added a young "tuner" to their team... That was good, I got real sick of listening to the one guy always talk about Mustangs and the other about Chevy's..

This week we're putting new rotors on my Mustang. Last week we put new headers on my mustang. Next week we'll put new Altezza tail lights on my mustang... Geesh.. get over your POS mustang!! LOL! (no offense to mustang owners).

That Stacy guy on trucks seems pretty cool. The project bronco they had was pretty sweet, the old bronco has always been a favorite of mine. One thing I like about that guy is he really puts the equipment to the test, no ***** footin around with stuff after its built. I think he needs to get ahold of a hemi and a titan and line them up, problem is i'm sure dodge won't supply the vehicle already knowing the result. I'd really like to know what dodges "independent" test there new comericial speaks of consists off, I hear the titan used in the test had a frontier engine LOL.

Yeah, I think Stacey would be the guy to show how capable the ABLS is off-road in the mud! As for the towing test shown by Dodge, I'm wondering if they didn't load each truck based on it's max tow rating (like 70% of max). This would give the Dodge the advantage because it has a lower max rating.

Re: Contact Stacey at Truckstv.com...

Bump!

I was just watching some DVR episodes of Trucks! and thought - hell they should do a Titan with all of it's stock glory - they could make a monster. So I went to the website for powerblock TV and couldn't find a contact email for them.

THEN I googled "Contact TrucksTV!" and this post was the first result shown! Sweet!

Re: Contact Stacey at Truckstv.com...

welp sorry to tell you fellas i sent e-mails long ago. unfortunately Stacey isn't part of the Trucks family any longer. He opened a shop in Tennesee (I think?) and has been doing custom project there. He also has a new show on ESPN of all channels that airs on Saturdays. I e-mailed truck nonetheless after the new jersey titan supermeet this summer including photos and videos of the titan. I wanted Trucks to feel the same excitement for our trucks that we do, and I want them to share it with the national media.. So far I haven't heard a thing.

Here is my e-mail sent on Thu 7/26/2007 12:18 PM:

Hey guys,

First and foremost thank you for having such a great show on television geared towards us truck guys. I've been a long time fan and consistent viewer for a number of years and have enjoyed the show since Stacey was hosting. I really enjoyed project Copperhead because my grandfather used to own a 69 Chevy C-10 with a straight six and three on the tree. Unfortunately the truck rotted away before I got the chance to get my hands on it. Since that truck never became a project I spent a winter restoring a '72 GMC C-15 Dually ultimately making it into a plow truck. Since the winters are becoming more and more mild here in the northeast my dad ended up trading the plow truck for helicopter flying time, and who can blame him??

I'm writing today to see if you have any future projects coming up on the show involving Nissan Titans. I haven't seen anything but was hoping you might feature a Titan on the Powerblock. We don't really have the aftermarket support the big 3 receive and my hope is that more manufacture's will start supporting our model. While we do have some support from Stillen, ProComp, Fabtech, including a supercharger (who wouldn't want that?) I still think there is a lot more this motor is capable of. I just attended a meet in Turnersville NJ with 30 Titans in attendance including one that was supercharged. I also belong to a forum: www.titantalk.com which has been THE source for anything Titan and an avenue to find those supporting us in the aftermarket. I'd love to see a Titan project on Trucks someday and know a few thousand others that feel the same way.

The meet featured a portable Dyno and I taped a few runs and loaded them to my Photobucket. I've included links below because I want you to get the feel that this truck has, the performance it's capable of, quite frankly I want you to be stoked about the Nissan Titan.

There are a lot of great trucks on Titantalk with various different mods and build purposes. I'm not sure if you follow the CORR series but there are 2 Titans running again this season, but they have built motors featuring custom cams, something no one is currently making for the rest of us. I really hope you guys pick up a project Titan and have at it. I know you won't be disappointed and will have a new found respect for foreign 1/2 tons.

Sincerely,

Tim

Since I orignially composed the letter cams and a few other parts have come on the market for the Titan.. but hey, send in those e-mails, let's get a Titan on the PowerBlock!
