Rust already

I have a LE King Cab and have already noticed a small spec of rust developing at the back of the rain gutters on the roof. This is going to be a great place for water to stand. Any one else noticed? Also have rust developing in the corner of the bed. It is starting on top of the spray in liner according to the dealer. Any suggestions of getting the rust off?
Thanks!

Let the dealer do their job - make them fix it.

I second that, it's a new truck you shouldn't have to worry with it.

Can you take pics of where it is and what it looks like. I know you described it but is there a chance we can check it out visually so we can be on the look out for it our selves. Also what color paint do you have?

What color is your truck? A light color I bet. You have fallout on your paint. Clay bar and wax it.

I have the smoke paint. I understand the rail rust in the gutters and hopefully can get the clay in the creases, but do not think the clay would work so well on the liner.
Thanks

I am not understanding the rust associated with the liner. Can you explain where this is at? I understand the roof gutters, mine look o.k., but I waxed them again to be safe. Do you have paint flaws in the gutters?

The rust on the liner appears to be rail rust? It is in the corner of the bed driver side.

Maybe not rust

Hey

I thought I had the same thing. Sure looked like rust to me. The service guy today when I got my oil changed said its rail dust. I didnt even think about it until he said that. I think Nissan ships alot of stuff by rail and the brake dust from that is really bad. The service guy said that they make something to take it off. You might try this. Hopefully thats all the problem is for you also.
