I haven't been around the 4x4 world for a long time, but it's been about a year now, and I've never haerd of whiplash suspension. $1699 seems pretty high for a brand of suspension I've never heard of, but I could very well be wrong. If you gonna lay down that much coinage, hopefully it's a great quality lift! Good luck, but when I get my Titan, I'll wait for a more well-known brand name to come out w/a lift.

Whiplash is a big name company. The thing is that most of the lifts they do are over 10" lifts. So mostly they do show trucks or people that got lots of cash. But they are a quality company.

I would stay away from whiplash suspensions. I've seen a few of their kits and quality is lacking to say the least

They were also involved in an insurance fraud thing a few years ago.

Im confused now are they good or not. They look really nice on the trucks they have done. They have a Lifetime Warranty so I dont know. 1700$ is a pretty good deal compared to the 2600$ that CST quoted me for the 4x4 version of their kit.

have heard both good and bad about them unfortunately know first hand the bad..used to be a dealer for them..stress used to be..had the 12" lift on my 2000 chevy crew cab..once they got me the right parts-after a 2 week down time on the lift in my shop it seemed ok..but the alignment slots for the a arms stripped out and i had to weld them in place..not too bad unless ya knock the front end out then its grind set reweld..but had this same prob on 3 other kits i installed..plus they charged me shipping on the original parts screw up on my truck..oh and the shocks they provide might last 5000 miles mine werent long enough for the amount of lift so never ran them-woulda only had 1" of down travel before bottoming out...

i would probly stay away...but ya never know..cst makes an 8" rancho is soon to have a 4" and i would really like to track down bulletproof suspensions 14" kit they seem to have much better quality than whiplash...

let me know what you find out cause i need a lift real bad...cant stand stock..would love 14" and a set of 38's!!!
