Key-FOB does not activate memory seat/mirror

Had my first oil change last weekend but since I'm the primary driver I didn't notice this problem till yesterday.

For some reason the key-fob does not activate the seat/mirror memory. If I push the 1 or 2 button on the driver's door the seat and mirrors will move to the correct position.

I also noticed that the backlight on the radio does not dim when you turn on the lights. It used to even when the headlights are in auto mode.

Are these related? Any ideas what these could be?

Chris

Pull out your manual and re-program the key-fob to the memory presets.

I assume you did this and it just stopped working now, if so give your dealer a call and ask them thier opinion. If you never set the key-fobs to the presets, the instructions are in the manual.

Just put the key in, turn it to on, push the memory button you want to have it setup as 1 or 2, push the set button, push the same memory button 1 or 2 and within 5 seconds hit the unlock button on the keyfob. I screwed mine up once by setting it when the seat was the way back, so have done this several times...hope this helps

Since I am the only one that drives it I set button 1 to regular driving position and button 2 to put the seat back straight and raise the seat as high as it will go for maximum visibility when squeezing into the garage.

Dash lights

I'll try reprogramming the memory seats. BUT.....

As for the radio light. It is worse than I thought. The dimmer switch for the dash lights has no effect. And all the controls on the center dash (everything below the radio display) is now dark.
