Service Manual: Is it really THIS big? [ ]

I downloaded the Titan service manual, and it's TITANic too!

I broke the print job up amongst several laser printers throughout my office, and spent most of the evening feeding paper and carrying stacks of printed pages back to the (thank GOD) electric 3-hole punch.

I'm very hopeful that I'll find duplicate sections, because I can't see a service manual for an automobile being quite this large. I think I pulled a muscle in my back carrying these back to the truck.

Has anyone else completely lost it and printed the service manual out?

A good number of pages are printed on both sides.

Check this picture out!

I hear you on the whole paper thing.. I don't want to take a laptop outside and end up getting my oily mitts all over it to look at a silly diagram. Instead, I'll just bring a hand-truck full of paper.

I'm just NW of Wake Forest, and I work out by RDU. We had a darn good deal ironed out at Southern States here in Raleigh, but they didn't have the color we wanted. We asked if they could check the Apex Southern States and they said "no Smoke". Dumbfounded, we went home and found the model in Smoke in Apex.

Go figure, a sales guy who lies.

So, instead of having them transfer the truck here, which I would have gladly done had I not been lied to about the sister store stock, I just called Apex and worked out a similar deal over the phone. We came down the next day and took it home.

Michael Jordan went to invoice over the phone without much arm-twisting, but didn't have a great selection of SE's with the options we wanted. They, of course, wanted to transfer something into the store for me, but I wanted to do a complete inspection and full test-drive before taking anything home, given this is a first model year and some of the issues people are having.

Would you have any interest in a local Titan owner cruise-around-town-and-eat-some-food get together? We do this type of stuff from time-to-time with some Vette folks and it's pretty fun.

PS - stock up on paper and toner for that service manual!

Steve,
yeah agree, don't want to hose up my work laptop in the garage.

Funny, I live 2 miles from the apex dealership but bought at sanford cause they didn't have a 4x4 in decemeber when i bought mine. I work at RTP.

Sure I am up for a ocal Titan owner cruise-around-town-and-eat-some-food get together. Just say when and where.

I have printed a couple pages as needed. I think your picture has cured me of any desire to print the whole thing out.

Exactly. Had I known, I don't think I would have done it either!
