Not a Titan, but my old Tundra sighted!

When I traded in My Tundra with full Ivan Stewart kit, the young guy working the finance counter ended up purchasing it.

I went into town today to get some dinner, and on the way home a black Tundra caught my eye coming in the opposite direction.. I thought "man, that's a nice truck" and then as it got closer I noticed the TRD grill and said "hey, that's MY old truck!" We waved at each other and smiled...

Scary that my old truck caught my eye... I missed it for a second, then floored the Titan and the feeling quickly faded.

Also, ever since the Titan it's scary how many F150s and Silverados and Dodge trucks I see... There are a ton of them out there (F150s outnumbering the others at least 2 to 1)! And each one I see I automatically think "ya... don't even try it..." LOL!

Ivan Stewart ed. is one good looking truck esp. in Black w/33's. Before the Titan came along I kept my eye open for one via AutoTrader for several months.

The Tundra was a good truck!!

I sold my Tundra~4 weeks ago.It was a great truck,no problems(not an IS edition-that would have been tougher to part with).
It cost me $7500 more for my XE KC with side Curtains, than I sold my TRD LTD 2WD Tundra for.I'm happy-I got a backseat that an adult can actually tolerate for 1/2 hr,side Curtain Airbags, and a lot more motor with very close to the same fuel consumption.I considered the SC,glad I didn't go that route.Charlie

Loved my Tundra

I loved my Tundra and saw it again Saturday morning. I had stopped by the dealership to get a rim swapped out (damage to finish, they replaced it no questions asked) and there was my Tundra sitting at the front of the lot. It's a good sign for me. Having been in the business, I can tell you they put too much money into my trade in to wholesale out (like Nissan wants an '01 Tundra TRD 4WD Access Cab sitting on their lot) so they have to sell it themselves. And the fact that it's still there a month later tells me they really are stuffed into it. Good for me
