Does it really matter???

I see alot of Dodge bashing here, and alot of non titan bashing on DTW. Mostly ford, and chevy bashing over there. Titan21 recently defended the toyota on DTW for being a forign make, and i responded same as i will here. I think what alot dont realise now is that there is no forign company's. Its great too love your make of vehicle, but too bash quality is silly. The axles issue posted on here from "www.dodgesucks.org" was over 2yrs old. They were dana axles then which titans use. Dodge recently changed cause of this, and the 2axles that broke on DTW are rare, and obviously there's still a problem with a different company. What i am trying too say is our manufacturers only make the shell, and put them together. Many of are parts come from the same place. There's no superior vehicle. Its great too love the looks of your truck, its also fun too see who's faster, but too argue quality when 85% of the time your vendors are the same as we have is silly.. Do some research on where your trans, axles, sensors, window motors, are built. You will see our vehicles are identicle except for body. Ok, i am now ready for the flames!! fire me up, but its the truth!!!

no flames here because your spot on. I was watching an Autoshow on TV today and they were interviewing the Chrysler COO and CEO, they both had thick German accents. It was strange to hear but it does show just how much ALL car companies have evolved and how much the buying public thinks that just because it has one of the big 3 decals on it, it's all American. Or because it has an Asian or European decal on it, it's all Foreign. Just isn't so in todays world.

No flames here either.

We all love our trucks and I don't feel that mine goes any faster looks any better, is more dependable based upon putting someone else's ride down.

It is what it is, whether I say so or not.

Each manufacturer has strong points and weak points.

The perfect truck will never exist.

I would rather learn from each other than get in a put down contest.

Keep the faith, Budman!

Just my 2 cents.

AAARRRGGHHH...TITANS ARE BETTER!!!!!!!...you put an engine from company A into a Dodge and then take the same engine from company A and put it into a TITAN....the TITAN ends up better....i think its some sort of magic or the fact that the only time we here from budmanhemi is when he is trying to defend his truck....its kind of fun to bash and wait for the response....I'll keep bashing even if my TITAN ends up breaking apart at the seems just to see the responses....TITANs RULE...DODGES DROOL!

sorry..had to

haha, as others have stated, to each his own. if you like the dodge better, fine. if you like the TITAN better, fine. what i hate is when i see an ignorant person say something like "oh its **** because its jap crap!" when every single year that same "jap crap" is at the top of reliability charts while their vehicles are in the shop on a constant basis. either way, if you like something, buy it, but in the end, the TITAN is the best full-size truck...

The "Jap crap" talk infuriates me too. If people don't like Japanese stuff, don't watch tv, use a computer, or listen to music on the stereo because Japan makes all the components that go into these things.

I enjoy my truck and thats really the end of it....the bottom line is that i think as enthusiasts we look for a friendly rivalry for lack of a better word...when I owned a camaro it was with the mustang, when I owned VW it was with Nissan and now that i own nissan its with dodge. I think thats what alot of the ram vs titan battle is. I refuse however to get into a real arguement over who likes what more. Who cares if we both like our trucks then lets keep on truckin

I hear ya Budman. There are reliable and unreliable in every make of vehicle. It's like a computer some people say Dell is best or HP or Compaq heck the electronics all come from the same place some parts in the U.S.A. most from Asia. they are all the same.
