I would definatly go for a vinyl window sticker. Maybe something small for the KC side windows or maybe a little bigger for the rear. No way is a bumper sticker going on there. Tikigod just let us know what we have to do to get everyone on the same page.
Fishheads last design (TT with domain name below) is what I was talking about earlier if we could get it in chrome, same size as the titan emblem on the tailgate, something professional looking.

I know I'm new here, but aren't we all generally new here.
My sister and her husband own a sign-making business just a couple miles away, and I have spent quite a while helping them in thier business. I have read some posts in this thread about "bumper stickers" when relating to the logos. That is a somewhat common misperception about vinyl logos. Basically, there's 2 types for common logos...
(1) cut vinyl logos: the design is laid out on a computer with color separation into a vector based graphic. Since they are vector based, every element on the logo is individually cut out of vinyl by a machine, and the places that are not colored have no vinyl. To simplify that a bit, each letter in the logos resented so far would be cut as single letters. To help installation of the decal, the machine cuts the whole logo at one time, and in the process, the vinyl is wedged between a backing paper (which peels off for installation), and a top coat, which holds the letters in place after tha backing paper is peeled off. Single colors are simple, multi colors are more work in the design phase and the "sandwiching". Generally multi color logos in this format do not include color gradients across the colors, airbrush effects, etc. The latest design from Fish_head is a simple 1 or 2 color logo, depending upon whether or not you want to have the titantalk.com text is a subdued color. For that logo, I would put recommend the TT in a chrome vinyl, and the titantalk.com words in a more subdued grey. THis would be a relatively simple and cheap to produce, and I'll try to get over to the signshop tomorrow (Tues) to knock one of these out with chrome (if they have have it in stock right now). On the premium vinyls today, they can last about 5-7 years without fading.
(2) Printed logos. These are more complex, and more expensive, but they can be so much more detailed. The vinyl printer/cutter that they have can take the Titantalk logo at the top of the pages of this forum and replicate it exactly. But there are issues. To replicate that, it would be a bumpersticker-like effect, because of the fading separation of the watermarked titan images againt the hard-lines of the letters/vehicle image. The printer is a uses a dye sublimation process. This may not last as long in the weather. On the good side, the cutter that's in their shop can slice and dice against hard lines, but watermarked images wouldn't look so good. Also, I haven't personally seen them try to print (yet) onto chrome vinyl.
With either of these types of process for the logos, the garbage in-garbage out principal applies. If the source image is a jpg or any other compressed image format, then the output will have typically have jagged edges on slants and curves. This principal is mote noticible when you produce 40' signs, but the same thought applies to small logos too.
I'm going to head to their shop tomorrow on Lunch and cut Fish_head's last two logos, and stick them on the windshield. I'll take the camara, and post some pix.
My opinion on logo placement, I would prefer a logo at the top of the windshield on the driver's side, and another at the bottom of the rear window at the driver's side. I'll apply the 2 that I cut to those locations, and you can give your thoughts.
Fish_Head, If you can provide you images in a bmp or corel-draw or autocad format, when email them to me here... spamguardian0001-carforums@yahoo.com
I went to the vinyl shop and got a couple of stickers printed up. I used fishhead's designs too.
They were really cheap, the one on the driver's side was $2 and the TT ones were $4 and $5. Here are the pictures of the vinyl on the back window. Keep in mind, everything is resizable. I think the domain under the center sticker shuold be bigger and that the "titantalk.com" on the left of the window should be in a smaller font.
Tell me which ones you guys like. I can have them changed and remade again for you all to decide if need be. Comes in diff. colors too, white is easiest to see on the dark windows...
I don't imagine they would cost more than $6 for me to send out, thats including the envelope and stamp (unless I have to use a bigger than letter-size envelope).
My vote: The center "TT" sticker is my favorite, but I would like to increase the font size for the domain name below so its more visable, with the artist's permission of course.
Cool look!!! Today I read that you were heading to the shop, and they look like what my shop can produce. Did they have Chrome vinyl in stock? I think that chrome might look awesome! I have to see if replicate it in chrome. I expect that the charge at my shop would be equal to yours... (but i have to deal with my sister on that one......... ever watch american choppers..... yea, same head-butting rituals.)

Bill, thanks for the info. As far as the two colors on the same vinyl 'decal,' This will make it difficult to line up.. The cutting device which looks like a plotter can usually only handle one roll of vinyl at a time, or one color at a time. Two print jobs for two colors. You would have to manually line up each print job after it is cut, onto the backing paper and this lets room for error (eg. not aligned correctly, crooked).
As far as the jagged edges and regards to "garbage-in and garbage-out," Your right. This is true of HUGE banners. However, using quality software helps. Most Vinyl shops will probably use Coral Trace in conjunction with Corel Draw, probably version 12 or later. The edges of the text will look "jagged" on the computer screen because of resolution limitations, however, the cutting machine will slice a PERFECTLY smooth, straight edge so don't worry too much about that. The shop I was at specialized in banners and they had a 20ft banner unrolled. The letters were straight as an arrow, no jagged edges on the slanted or rounded sides of the letters at all.
I completely agree with the colored on/inked on vinyl. This will fade and the REDS and YELLOWS will look especially bad, probably within a matter of weeks or months if you park in the sun.
People can place the vinyl where ever they want. I will not put one on the top of the front windshield. This may even be illegal in some states, for sure in CA. Anything on the front window below the 'hatch marks' on either side (usually about 3-4" down from the roof) will get you a ticket if a cop is having a bad day.
yes sir, they had chrome. I don't like chrome so I didn't print those out. Thanks for reminding me...
Without special ordering materials, this shop can produce a candy-apple red, a forest green, bright green, WHITE , black, yellow.. um.. chrome.. and a couple others, mostly the primary colors. Sorry girls, no pink in stock.
Bill, which design did you like best?
Fishhead, I did not change any fonts or sizes yet because it was rude of me to use your designs without asking in the first place. Is it ok if I up the font on the domain name below the "TT?" btw, great design!
I thought the font size would be ok as it is, but its alot different on the computer screen from when you actually slap one on the window. This might be barely visible to anyone that is not actually standing 2 ft. from the sticker.
I liked the middle one more (TT) but I was thinking of something that goes on the tailgate, like an emblem.

I'm a little squeamish about putting things on the painted surfaces. I'd rather keep the stickers on the glass where you can scrape them off with a razor blade and windex and not have any damaging side effects.
Everyone's gonna put their's in a different spot, and that's what's cool about vinyl. Everyone can be different even using the same sticker.
Chris, it kinda makes a diff. which decal cuz I can up the font size on the "TT"
without the circle (with fishhead's 'ok') but the circle limits the domain's font size on that decal. I will put you down for one in chrome of the round ones... did you want 2? one for each of your side rear windows like your titan decal?
I'll take 2! I am thinking one on the rear window (placement to be determined with momma) and the other I will 'hold in reserve'. Let me know how much.
