A PS to my XE question and thanx for all your help-

So is it worth getting the preferred pkg with 6 cd changer and alarm-if u don't get the preferred is it a single cd player--also plan to aftermarket the stereo once a few people have done it-

Personally, I would get the cheapest radio possible and go aftermarket for the stereo. For example:

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-J2qMVjm...s&i=500CDA9820

You can get the head unit with integrated XM receiver for about the same $ as Nissan's XM kit. This would control an Alpine changer also. I am not a car stereo expert, but something to think about.

I definitely agree with bestatchess. Go ahead and spend the money on an aftermarket piece, then you won't have to deal with this crap we all are going through. Also, you will have the dash face that will accept aftermarket parts. It's what I should have done.

I agree about going with an aftermarket, however if you want you can spring for the Popular Package and get the 6 disc changer in the dash. I like mine but would always prefer an Eclipse or Denon unit.
