$43 for 304 miles.

Thats what it cost me to go 303.4 miles. The green beast has less than 700 miles and when i did the math it was around 12.something mpg. This was a mixture of around town and highway miles (mainly around town). I was not disappointed. I know it will get better and it was not too much worse than my 01 Frontier (6 cyl). I really enjoy the 4x4, offroad and the big tow and I have not had a need to use any of them yet at least until my break in period is over. This truck rides so much better than my 91 300Z and the Frontier so I dont understand the complaints about the ride quality. You should feel the frontier's body lean and the way it takes free way expansion joints. It has some minor problems but i am sure a $60K vehicle would too. As long as nissan fixes it and doesnt give me problems I probably get the 2008 model.

I guess what i mean is i love this truck.

I stopped measuring fuel mileage in this truck by mpg's. When I'm pulling my trailer I get 4.5 mtd. That miles to the dollar. I have 3000 mile on the truck and the mpg hasnt got any better. Oh and gas cost 2 bucks a gallon.

I am getting a consistant 14.5 - 15.0 mpg with a combination of city and highway driving. I just had the 7,500 mile oil change and tire rotation done so maybe you too can look forward to better mileage with age.
