I need volunteers!

Hey everyone,

I really need some help. I have been asked by the Owners of the Badlands Off Road Park and the organizers of the NEUROC Rock Crawling series to help supply Judges for the competition at the Badlands Off Road Park in Attica Indiana. The event is scheduled for the weekend of June 4th -6th.

This is really a good time and volunteers will be eligible for substantial discounts from vendors. (one is Tom Woods Custom Driveshafts) You will also be eligible for raffle prizes that are pretty sweet. (a friend of mine won a set of 37" BFG crawler tires last year)

You dont need to be a big off roader just someone who has an interest in the sport and wants to be involved. Judging is not as hard or intimidating as it sounds I have done it and its really kind of fun, and you cant get any closer to the action.

Volunteers will need to be in Attica Indiana at the Badlands by 5pm on frday the 4th and for the day on sat and sunday. Volunteers will need to contact me so I can forward the organizers your email addresses so they can send you the rules to read and be ready to ask questions on friday.

Again you dont need to be an off roader even if you are just curious about the sport it would be a good chance to check it out first hand.

Also it would be cool if there were more Titans there other than mine.

If you are interested send me an email at bectom@frontiernet.net or pm me
you can also call me at
309-963-4568hm
309-838-3004cell
if you have any questions

The Bandlands is about an hour away from Indianapolis
it is about three hours from Chicago and about 4 1/2hours from St. Louis.

Read about NEUROC at www.neuroc.com

Thanks in advance for any help.

Man I really wish I could make that. I used to be real into offroading and have always wanted to witness some rock crawling first hand, as it isn't too common in the South East. If they ever have an event in Tellico, I could probably make it.

Hell, I'll drive down to San Diego and you can fly the both of us out there together. I'm sure that BWT and I would have plenty to talk about! I really wish I could man, I'm starting to get more and more into it, and would love the chance to learn more about it and win cool stuff. If I was a little closer than CA, I'd be there in a minute. Good luck though.

No problem Tell you what, if it comes down to it and I only need two more volunteers I will consider flying you guys over.

I was thinking the Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio folks would consider it.

It really is a good time watching others tear up their stuff for a change.

Sounds great!

lol TD, no hard feelings eh? I get a little defensive sometimes because I am a Nissan diehard. All of our (my wife and myself) vehicles are Nissan.

Dude, of course no hard feelings. I had a Frontier before I sold it to save up for a full-size truck, and my Pops had a Maxima before he sold it to buy his G35, so I like the Nissan brand too. No worries bro. What a friggin great weekend that would be jeeptug!!

I wish you had given us a little more notice. I am booked for that weekend with a Haz-Mat / Decon training session that is scheduled to be all day Saturday. Recuperation is scheduled for Sunday (you spend 8 hours in a Decon suit and you will understand why you need a day to recuperate )

Maybe next time since that is a short 3 hour drive for me. Just give me a month's notice.
