Headlight switch

I just read complaint on NHTSA site on the headlight switch turning off when using signals or dimmer. I have same problem and dealer has ordered new switch. Two weeks & not in yet. Service manager and I checked several Titans on lot and all rotated switch too easily. 2005 Altima in showroom was much more resistant to turning and has same switch lever as the Titan.

Anyone else having this problem?

I did this once... no big deal.

The only complaint I have so far about the Titan is the headlights. They don't seem to shine off to the side of the vehicle at all making turning around corners pretty blind. It freaks me out. I can see how the design of the headlights would cause this. Sure wish it was different.

I had the same problem turning off the headlights by accident.

It is kinda frequent... whenever I'm on a mountain road, I get flashed as if I had brights on. When I go to show them what REAL brights look like, I make an idiot of myself by spinning the knob to off position while trying to yank it back to flash them. Its a stupid design. If there is a fix, I would love to know about it.

I have had the same problem also. I did this several times right after bying my titan because I automatically reached for something there.

Scares the crap out of you on a backroad curve at 55.

I have eliminated the use of the headlight switch with a dusk to dawn drl system. It makes headlight system completely automatic. Daytime runs low beam at ~ 75% power and at dusk turns up to 100% and turns on front parking and tail lights on.
