13.4 on 87 octane
LE CC
Big Tow and Off Road
4x4

2,500 on the odometer and this is highway driving. City is 11.2. The mileage on this thing sucks, but the looks I get with it makes it all worth while!!

May the price of gas go down soon!!!! Yikes!

Interesting results.

Before I purchased my 2wd CC SE w/o big tow option, I drove one with the lower rear end ratio. I found that at 60mph there was a 300-rpm difference between to two rear axles. This was before the big increase in gas price and I decided it would just cost me money. I just don't understand how the EPA estimated (sticker) gas mileage could be listed as the same (19) on both trucks!

Of the guys with mileage logs, What has been the mpg difference between 93 octane and 87?

I travel allot and I have 6000+ miles in less than two months. I haven't kept up with it but think that I average 18+ when driving less than 85. My best MPG was something like 19.7 with high octane and cruise control set at 73.

Note* if you see a fellow TITAN give him a blink of the head lights and a wave to let them know your from this board!

nursecricket,aztitan-best single tank?? new running totals

nursecricket, aztitan,I wasn't really clear. What was your best single fillup, not your average? It will probably be one where you took a trip that was all interstate. The high #'s posted are obviously all highway.I get 12 or less in my day to day city driving, but my best was 19.6-all interstate with very little braking.
aztitan, you don't have big tow,but you do have offroad;is that right?I will hold off on recording you folks numbers till you post again. Thanks,Charlie

13.4 was my best, and I'm not quite sure how come I'm getting so little compared to everyone else that has the same as I do in options. I'm getting cranky! lol

This was on a trip from central NC to Dayton, OH - I had approx. 1,100 miles on the truck at the time.

My short stop-n-go commute nets me around 13, but it's only 18 miles round trip.

I think my mileage (12-14 in town) has a lot to do with the Florida heat and all the people who get in my way down here. As my wife and kid will attest to, I drive like an old man, rarely going over 70 on the interstate.
