??? Confusing Lights ???

I cannot speak for the XE or the SE packages because I am not familiar enough with either, but on the LE package, there is a light that I cannot figure out. It is located on the over head console at the very front right in front of the rearview mirror. You cannot see the light bulb unless it is dark outside. Once it is dark, you can either see it by bending over and looking directly up at the top of the console, or you can hold your hand close to it and see the light cascading over your hand. It only functions when the headlights are turned on and it is affected by the dimmer switch. What the HELL is this light for!!??!!

According to Nissan, that light has been in every Nissan vehicle for years. It is obviously more useful in smaller cars than in an area as large as the Titan interior.

I noticed it the first time I drove at night, still haven't decided if I like it or not? I guess its better to have than not to have.

Not a problem, I remember reading about this before I got my Titan otherwise I probably would have asked the same question. Here's one for you though, if you have it I guess that is, did you notice your temp/compass changes intensity at night depending on the outside light? If you pull into a well lit parking lot or even your garage, it will get brighter. Just another little thing that makes go WOW!!!
