badluck

several months ago, the canteen monster was rearended by some school kids, it went to the shop for a bumper and some paint work on the rt rear quarter panel, took it back to the dealer today, they said they would have to repaint to correct. while i was at the dealership, i went over to the service dept, to have a piece of trim repaired, while it was in their care, they backed my truck into the wall, duplicating the original demage that the kids had done. either way, they were going to have to repaint, now it gets another new bumper. i will be without my baby for two weeks. everyone take note, when your vehicle goes into service, have them walk around it, before and after the service. man; these titans sho do draw alot of attention.

Just the reason I'm hesistant about getting some minor issues fixed at the dealer. The service bays seem too cramped for a full size truck.

Sorry to hear about that. Just gives me more reason to only take my truck to the dealer if it is absolutly necessary. Good luck with the repair!

I am really sorry to hear about being rearended by the kids and now the dealer does that! I never took mine in for anything as of yet. I try to do all my maintenance intervals myself. I'm going to be cringing when I eventually will have to take mine in. -Take Care!!

Know exactly what you mean! When my Canteen Tank was at the dealer to have the new radio installed, the service tech nearly took out the passenger side of my truck driving into the service bay. Fortunately someone stopped him in time! Guess he's too used to driving those little Sentras!! And of course when he popped the face plate of the radio, he left a few nicks to remind me of his handywork as well as the black grease/grime he left on the plastic scuff plate on the body sill. Unfortunately I have to take it back yet again for a new overhead console (cracked from factory) and to have my bedliner re-sprayed. I will gladly remind them that the truck does not have the first scratch on the outside and I plan on seeing that way when they're done!

Good look getting your truck fixed -- again!
