Holy Crap! The great coin tray myth :)

Well after 2+months of "what's it's part number?, it's back ordered!, I never heard of it!? My dog ate it I finally got my coin tray. Yay?? I made them go steal it from another Armada. They searched 8 of them before they finally found a SE that had one. Is Nissan even sending these out with the recent builds? I think they have some bizarre QC issues. The coin tray guy must hit the JD early in the morning.

Now, if only I had AM radio. It hasn't worked since day one. I have not heard "Mike and the Mad Dog" in my truck yet

Coin tray

I've heard of this coin tray, but haven't seen one. I even looked in an Armada at the dealer. What does it look like, and where does it go? How much is it?

Look at this thread: Coin Tray

And use the search or I'm going to have to start cracking skulls. Beat your face!

the elusive coin tray. a rare beast whose only been spotted by a lucky few. its mating and reproductive habits have not yet been documented. watch next week as we try to unravel the mystery of the hard to track down FM radio fade................

steve

To all with no coin tray. Print out the picture from the thread referenced above and take it to the salesman that sold you the truck. It worked for me, two weeks from order date.

Reading all this about a coin try got me amped, so I called my dealer, of course no idea what I was talking about. I then proceeded to call customer support, (got an issue, deal with the source I'm thinking).. Where they proceeded to tell me that it was an option initially but has since been removed. I told them it was still listed in my manual and I wanted it, I even gave them a part number at which time they told me the only thing that they can do for me is appologize and sell me the part for $60-$70. I plan on beating up my stealer a litte bit more to see if I can't steal one from an Armada.
I didn't care that I didn't have one until I read about it hear funny huh? 30+K and willing to scrap over a coin tray!
