Freaked out, took off my skidplate and inspected all the tranny hoses for leaks (non were found) after my trans. went into limp mode/ AT check light on. Fluid level was fine (checked while running) so hoping it was just a hiccup.

I looked everywhere for where it has to connect to..no dice. It's not like I had anything to go off of. I open the hood and all my air filter hoses were somehow disconnected from the air filter... I can only think that when I took my truck into the shop to get front and rear wiring harnesses redone (squirrel nested and munched my wires to sh*t) they didn't re-attach them. FWIW, I put about 700 miles on since to include some riding on the beach in Corpus Christi...
Nutshell: no idea where the differential breather hose goes and 2, could I possibly have a beach in my engine?

it is a breather hose for your differential. Just zip tie it to something.

Right on, thanks. Should there be air/suction/anything coming from it? Not that I noticed any, but should there be (sorry for threadjack). As far as placement, should I have it so the open end is point up/down/to the side/fwd/bckwrd?
