Headrests...

I wish the headrests were more adjustable. For example being able to tilt them forward so I don't have to lean my head back on longer drives. Anyone else notice this?

Are there any aftermarket headrest manufacturers out there that have drop in units to fit our trucks?

Yup! I agree. Not sure about aftermarket headrests I never looked. If I find any which is doubtful I'll let everyone know. Perhaps there are performance or racing seat available but not sure how comfortable that would be for daily use.

This is actually my only complaint about the truck..besides the radio reception. Must find.

I agree. For safety, the head restraints got a marginal/poor rating.

I've had my Titan for two weeks now, and immediately noticed the same thing with the headrests. My 2000 Tundra was just the opposite as the headrests were too close. My '93 Camry on the other hand, has adjustable headrests, up and down, plus tilt forward and back. Wish the Titan was like that.
Other than the radio problem (non RF), no complaints.

Ken

This to is one of my complaints as well. I tried to find some replacement headrest, but could only find DVD replacements. I have the captains chairs and think that Nissan needs to make some serious improvements to these seats. The seat seems to naturally lean forward (Probably mounted level to frame, but with truck approach angle they now lean forward.), have no tilt adjustment on the whole seat (solve the lean problem), seem a little short in the seat (thigh length), and very poor headrest (should tilt).

No complaints here, but my wife had this complaint with her new Honda. We removed the headrest and put it back in backwards and now she's happy. It won't adjust up or down like this because the locking notches are now on the other side, and it looks a little funny but it solved her problem (which in turn solved MINE!).

I'm not sure if the Titan headrests have enough of a contour on the back to have the same effect, but it might be worth a try on long trips.
