Missing part?

Does anybody know what goes into the molded bracket on the underside of the console door?
The tech rep tells me that's where I put my travel tissues. (?)
I think (it looks like) some sort of remote carrier.
Any Clues?

Small travel packs of tissues. The really small ones in soft pack.

In the other smaller holder on the underside of the center console lid, I keep a pen. I swiped the coin holder from my 2000 Tundra before trading it in, and mounted it with double stick tape inside the center console. You could probably buy an aftermarket coin holder and do the same.

You are right that is for the DVD remote but I keep mine in the overhead console. Just in the way there.

I thought it was for the remote as well but when I tried it, I only could get it in up to the rubber buttons - after that I was afraid it was so tight it would rip the buttons right off. I tried it both directions and both sides. I think the tissue holder might best use for it.

It is not for the remote, its for tissues.
But if you wanted, you could cram your remote in there.
