Do any of you have a bra for your Titan. I live in the deep south and during the spring down here the bugs are really bad. The juice that comes out of them when they splat is really harmful to paint. I'm thinking about putting a bra on during the months of April, May, and June and going bra-less the rest of the year. It seems like I saw someone's avatar that showed a nice looking black bra.

There is something by 3M (can't remember the name of it) that you can have painted on your truck. It's clear and they paint it over the entire front of the truck. It's to protect it from rock chips, bugs, etc. It's clear so it may look better... just an idea though...

This is what I opted for. It's a filme that is applied much like window tint. I've purchased 3 kits from www.invinca-shield.com and have had no problems installing it myself. Looks much better than a vinyl bra, and doesn't cause the damage that a vinyl bra does.
I put a regular bra on a car in the past. Never again. It seemed to have caused more damage than it prevented. When dirt gets behind it, it acts just like sandpaper.

Boy! That stuff's expensive! I don't want the paint on the front of the truck to come off, but for that price, I could easily get it repainted and have a few extra clear coats applied.

Careful with the "standard bras".Leaves stain plastic.
I'm in the south,so I know all about the swarms of suicidal bugs we have here.I used the black bras on the Tundra and Pilot.I think they looked good-kept the bugs off.Unfortunately,I was a lazy MF and didn't remove them, and clean the leaves etc that will always find their way under those bras. They stained the plastic bumper cover of the Pilot-a dingy yellow that no amount of "bleach-compounding" has managed to remove. The sun and time, seem to have removed the stain.
Now I use the 3m sheets.I was a cheapskate and bought a roll of 3m-10 feet by 2 feet,I think. It would have been easier to have gotten the precut pieces. There is a learning curve-especially to knowing what shape to cut it etc.Do easy-flat surfaces-pieces 1st no matter which way you go.Luck.Charlie
I thought someone would have mentioned the "Bro" aka "the Manzier"
get outta my mind!!

Yes, but you'd have to have the hood repainted after every snow storm, after every time you followed a dump truck, after every spring insect orgy, after every time you drove on a dirt rode behind another car.....
The 3M lasts a minimum of 5 years without discoloring. Keeping the front end of your car 'like new' without having to re-spray. Keep in mind also, every time you put a layer of paint on the truck, you lose some resale value in the truck.
Some might not see the sense or value in the product, but there are those that enjoy a chip free front-end.
