Train Horn Mounting areas? Help!

I have an 05 KC Titan with train horns. I have the Viair compressor and 2.5 gallon tank mounted about the rear end in front of the spare tire. I have a 3 trumpet train horn set mounted under the truck, below the drivers side door towards the frame currently, but I am lifting the truck 4 inches using the CST spindles and am going to remove the stock running boards, so now since it will be higher up and running boards off the 3 horns will be more exposed and easily seen, so I am going to need to relocate the mounting position.

So my question is where they mount them at?? If you have an idea on where to mount them or could even post pictures to where they are mounted, I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Re: Train Horn Mounting areas? Help!

Just to completely ditch the spare tire hu? I would prefer to keep the spare tire. I do drive a lot and use the bed of my truck often enough to not want the spare floating around in the bed. Any other ideas?

Yeah, that was Galen's truck MEGATRON. I think he kept the spare in the bed, a 35 on a 20" rim weighing in at about 100 lbs!

Yikes. ya, I do a lot of mtn biking, shooting, dog training, etc... So, really having a 35" spare tire floating in the bed is not really an option.

Re: Train Horn Mounting areas? Help!

Do you have any pics on where eactly you have yours located? I have mine around your area with the compressor and tank near the spare and able to keep it. as well as 4 horns near the front drivers side. I'll get pictures up tomorrow for you. I have rnning boards, but i think my horns barely show off mine even if i took them off. but i will get you a shot on how me and my dad set it up.

Re: Train Horn Mounting areas? Help!

I'll try to get a picture of mine tomorrow in the daylight but I pretty much put the compressor where 24/7 has his but I mounted the horns right where the aluminum plate is in front of the axle where the factory muffler goes.
