Purchased my Titan in March, got rear-ended April 24th and has been in the shop ever since. NISSAN CAN'T SHIP LEAF SPRINGS! I have talked to everyone and their brother but the best delivery date is June 21st and I am #3 on the priority list. I have now driven the rental longer than I drove the Titan!
I think this is my last Nissan since they are not willing to pull a spring off of the assembly line and ship it to the body shop, or do anything else to assist. "Sorry it was an accident and not a warranty item." Also the little tool box won't be in until July sometime. Great stocking of replacement parts Nissan. Can't wait until the full-sized Toyota comes out!
Does anyone know if this is covered under the lemon laws? Any recommendations would be appreciated, I hate making payments on something I can't drive.
Man, that's tough. Looks like they would stock replacement parts before going to market.
Look on the bright side, you'll have a year old truck with less than 5000 miles on it. Just kidding.
Hope you get back on the road again soon.
I was on the national waiting list for a bumper that got dented in an accident. It took 2 months just for a rear bumper. I would have thought that would be an item to keep stocked up on.
Disappointing.
