First Oil Change at Dealer Today

I took my own Royal Purple oil and differential fluid with me. Will be interesting IF there's any appreciable improvement in gas mileage.
Also asked Service Writer to be sure and tell his guys to let hood shut w/ gravity and not to push on it with hands since some have been dented that way.
He kept trying to tell me I really didn't need the differential fluid changed and I kept telling him I realized that, but I have my reasons - ya'll know what I mean.
I would've had the tranny fluid changed to synthetic but the owner's manual warned against deviating from Nissan fluid and Royal Purple had no listing for Nissan vehicles, so I passed on that for now. It would've been interesting if they had used synthetic tranny fluid anyway had I brought some with me, but I'm not about to find the answer to that one first hand.
