Clay dummy

I need some help here. This weekend, I am going to take a clay bar to my truck. My question is pretty simple. Once you have used the clay bar, what do you follow with? Does it go in this order?

1) Wash
2) Clay
3) Wax

Also, if this is the order, are there any other steps that need to take place? Please help.

Yep, that's how you do it. Just remember to keep the surface lubricated with whatever spray comes with the clay bar kit. Using a clay bar is real easy. Spray the surface and lightly rub back and forth with the clay bar. Very little pressure is needed. Wipe and dry the surface, and run your hand over it to verify it's smooth. Repeat any areas as necessary. Just follow the instructions.
I clay bar'd mine last weekend and followed with the new Meguiar's NXT generation Tech Wax. Extremely good stuff, easy on, easy off, and great shine!
Have fun, Ken

I would wash, clay, wash, then wax. Gets any of the clay residue that may be left off of the truck. For the first wash you could use a harsh detergent like Dawn dishwashing liquid to take off any wax that may be on there. Use the clay bar, wash again, then wax.

TK's deadon, especially about Meguiar's new NXT "wax." Some of my Corvette buds (including me), who are die-hard Zaino fans, are now using the NXT because it gives a deeper shine.

As a sidenote, a 50/50 mix of Windex and water works well w/ the clay bar. A body shop guy showed me that one.
