Sqeaking coming from driver side rear tire

When I drive with my windows down, I can hear a squeak coming from the rear tire on my side. It is consistent with the tire turning over. Not obnoxiously loud, but I can still hear it over my exhaust when not accelerating. What could this be?

I have the same thing. At first I thought it was from when they changed out my axle. The dealer said they couldn't find it. I just turn the radio up LOUDER to work out the rattles, squeaks, clunks and whinning that I have in the truck.

Could it be the Brakes?

I don't know how old your truck is, but it may be the brake "sensor" telling you the pads are worn down. I can't imagine that the truck has been driven long enough for the brake wear, but you may want to have that checked.

Maybe there's something caught in the tread, small rock etc. It's happened to me before and it makes a funny noise on the particular tire.

Hawkeye- I just heard that sound you are describing the other day on mine as well. I always make it a point while I am driving out of my neighborhood to drive w/no radio or music playing and at least my driver's side window down to listen for any noises and I just heard it the other day. What I did was while cruising down the street pump my brakes hard several times and the noise went away. I already heard it the past several mornings and only seems to happen in the morning on the first drive. Every time I pumped the brakes it went away.It looks like it may be brake related perhaps even parking brake related. Like the pads are not quite clearing the rotors, only seems to be coming from the left rear though. I'm planning to rotate my tires this weekend and will also inspect for brake wear, etc.

The pad not clearing the rotor was kinda what I was expecting to hear. I will try to get it looked at soon. Thanks for the responses guys.
