Atlanta Area Meet - New Thread

I just re-read the original Atlanta area meet topic that I started and it appears the vast majority would like to go to the Dillard House on Saturday July 31st. If this sounds like a good place to meet and a good date please let me know by replying to this thread. I just called them and can make reservations as late as 2 weeks in advance so I need a head count as soon as possible. If you all have changed your minds as to the location of our meet, now's the time to speak up so we can take a poll as quickly as possible.

I'll have Chris sticky this thread so you all can let me know.

I look forward to meeting everyone that can attend and I'll try to come up with a place in Atlanta, where those who are driving north, can meet up and drive from there.

T-Shirts????? I know someone said they could do it, I'm in for 2 large and one childs (small) please.

I don't know about you all but I can't wait, this sounds like a lot of fun!!!

Ah, I was gunning for Buckhead. Will there at least be a keg (or two...three) at the Dillard House? You gotta have something for us younger folks to drown our sorrows with. Too bad you didn't have it in Atlanta this past weekend, I was just there on my way to Commerce. Either way I can't be for certain that I can make it, you know Uncle Sam isn't the most lenient boss.

They don't serve alcohol at the Dillard House. I don't think the county (Rabun) is dry, but I am not sure if they will let a keg come in from the outside. I kind of doubt it.

C'mon all, I'm starting to get a little nervous because hardly anyone that originally said they were going to go has responded yet. If that's the case than everyone meet at Sammy's house for a KEG........

Seriously though I still have several weeks before I need to make a firm commitment to the Dillard House, I'll do some breathing excersizes, maybe that will help....

I could probably make it.

I am not familiar with the Dillard house, but I'd prefer a location where I could keep my daughter busy. If the Dillard house fits that bill, great. If not, I might still show up, but probably by my lonesome.

Wish I could be there. I'll be in Georgia first week of July. Will pass by Atlanta on my way to the mountains. If I see a Titan I will wave.

Things have picked up at work and a couple employees went on to other jobs leaving me with a heavy work load the next few months. Because I may have to work some random weekends I cannot commit to a date.

I hate to miss the event, but at the same time I a very glad our economy is picking up and and our business is booming right now.

well I'm back from the 4th of July festivities with fewer brain cells than I started with but I'm sure only the weak ones died....

Anyhow, only the people who have responded on this thread are the ones coming to our meet. I haven't received any PM's from anyone so I assume either the location or date isn't working for some peoples schedules. So it looks like it will be a small get together but that's ok too. As long as we all enjoy ourselves and talk Titan trash who cares....and eat well too, almost forgot that one......

I'm still trying to think of a place in Atlanta where we all can meet up and drive to the Dillard House. I'll put some more thought into it and come up with a meeting place.

I know Sammy is hoping for an "adult drink" as my 6 year old calls them. I think that's a great idea Sammy, we'll follow you after we've gorged ourselves at the Dillard House.....

There is still plenty of time for others to chime in and for you abmobil.....the more the merrier............

As a matter of fact it would be nice to have some Armadas and Hemi's there too, did I say that about the Hemi's???

Well I doubt I'll be able to make it, just because of my own work schedule and the long drive up to the Dillard House. I could have maybe made something in a closer vicinity of Atlanta if it was on a weekend that I was traveling through, as I have several close friends in the area. But if you are ever in LA (lower Alabama) I'll be sure and buy you guys an "adult drink."
