Does it feel like a full size truck

I took my son fishing this morning and a guy was there with his son in a Tundra. He said "Nice truck, does it feel like a full size?" He had this smerk on his face I told him to come and see for hiself. I could tell he had never been close to one as he got closer his smerk changed.I opened the driver door and he was looking in and the smerk was envy. I asked his to climb on up and check it out.You should have seen the smile on his face .

Well after abouty 30 minutes of prying him out so I could fish.I was looking back at my truck and I could see him looking at it from his fishing spot.I think I see a Titan in his future.

I think a lot of people just don't catch the size of it standing alone....they think its some kind of raised Frontier. this would account for the many questions of whether it is a 4 or V-6. If you don't see it next to a Ford or Chevy its size is deceptive, especially in a dark color. Juma

LOL! I ran across something like this with a dog training buddy of mine yesterday afternoon. He's a diehard Dodge fan (whose wife works for the local Toyota dealership) and I eavesdropped on a conversation between he and my husband about my Titan:

Buddy: "well, I'll never have anything but a Dodge or Ford ever."
Husband: "I felt the same way about GMC/Chevys, but I gotta tell you, my mind has changed. That Titan is ALL truck."

A few minutes later, as they were looking at the Titan, my buddy confessed that he'd not only changed his mind, but was going to trade in his 2003 Dodge for a Titan. He just had to have one after seeing mine. He spent the rest of the night staring at it.

It was kinda funny sitting through dinner with two domestic full size truck diehards, hearing them sharing such nice words about the Nissan Titan and their plans to one day, soon, have their own.

The truck speaks for itself ... we don't have to say a word.

Here's something I do to amuse myself: I go to Home De(s)pot or Lowe(ly)s parking lot and park my Titan next to a Tundra or any other truck for that matter to compare the size. There are usually lots of trucks at these home improvement places and empty parking places next to trucks that you can park. This is a good way to compare your Titan nose to nose, side by side, etc. I parked next to a Tundra one time and the Tundra looked like a Ford Ranger in comparison to my Titan. The funnest part about doing this is occasionally you will get to see the owner of the truck you parked next to gawking at your Titan when you return from shopping.

Many still don't realize the Titan is full-size. I stopped by the tire store a few days ago to get my tire repaired. I told them I had a Titan, but it didn't register I guess.

The owner walked out to the truck with me to take a look at tire. He actually stopped a few paces from the truck and stammered "This thing is huge!". Then he took a look at the tire: "You got 18" wheels?!". He kept mumbling to himself about the Titan for a while.

Then we walked back inside and he proceeded to tell his employees of his 'discovery'

The guys then asked me why I decided on the Titan. I told them because it has the biggest crew cab of the four full-size trucks. I don't think they believed me then, but that soon changed when they got the Titan in the shop and checked it out!
