steering wheel audio controls

Has anyone been able to incorporated there factory steering wheel controls with an after market HU. if so can you please post info.

I don't know if anybody has....but Crutchfield has an adaptor that they state works with most Nissan steering wheel controls.......you might give them a call.....

Here is a universal steering wheel control interface.... it does require that your aftermarket radio have an infra rea (IR) remote.

They work great... a little tricky initially to porgram, but after that they are flawless.

AMS Car Stereo here in San Jose used a PAC <http://www.gotopac.com> (not sure on the web site) for the inteface. PAC did not know how to hook it up specifically for the Titan but I brought over the wiring pages from the service manual and they figured it out. Mounted the IR transmitter right below the head unit and seems to work well (Alpine mulitmedia monitor head unit).
