Most effective "squeak killer" method

Hi all,

Just curious about the different methods you all use to kill squeaks. I have a 2004 Armada, so they've unfortunately been many. So far I've used the soft 1/2 of a velcro strip stuck to whereever I can find the squeak. Got most of 'em, but there's one in the back gate that's driving me nuts...

I have got one squeak that is pretty annoying it seems to be coming from the driver side around th speaker area.

Anybody dealt with somthing like this?


Also I had one , one night over my head coming from what seemed the overhead storage but it went away and I have not heard it since.

I hadn't had any until driving the washboard gravel roads when back visiting the in laws. Turned out it was the courtesy lights right above the front window. Gave em a tap and they shut up.

i've fixed a few squeaks on mine using either strips of felt, or rubber insulation that is sticky on one side. (you can find both at any home depot/osh/lowes type place.
