Dealer Cash?

Guys,

I ordered a Titan from my local dealer. We wanted a combination he just couldn't find.

Anyway, he told me I would get whatever customer cash was available at the time of delivery (I think it's $1000 today), and whatever Nissan was giving for dealer cash. My question is, how can I find out what they are getting back for "dealer cash" rather than just trusting him to tell me? Does anyone know what they are giving today.

Also, any thoughts on predicting customer rebates in July or August?

John

Edmunds.com usually has up to date listings on rebates, incentives, cash back, that sort of thing. I'd check there first. I have no idea what sort of incentives will be offered in late summer. Good luck.

Kyle,

I ordered a CC 4x4 SE
RF
BT
Off Road (w/locking differential)
Side Air Bags
Utility Bed

I ordered Silver, but Smoke, White or Silver would have been fine.

The problem we were having was finding one with the Airbags in particular. It was important to my wife & I didn't want to always "wish we had done it", so we'll just wait.

As for Edmunds, does it include Dealer cash as well?

$500 dealer cash on Titan/Armada only upon meeting a certain sales volume level (I have no idea what that number is).

Thanks rvsixer.

Bill RK, most of the airbagged Titans seem to be the LEs. If you are not requiring the OR/BT w/locking differential, you may want to consider looking at an LE. Just a thought.

Well the place I got this info from is a pretty big dealer, and they claim they won't meet the required volume. So unless you are shopping at a very high volume dealer I wouldn't count on getting it.

anxious

Hi All, just registered. I ordered my new Titan (white/se/KC/4X4) on 5/11/04 they said 50-60 days. the $1000 rebate ends 7/6 (56th day). do you think they would/should honor it if it arrives a few days later? this wait is starting to wear on me. GREAT SITE!

dliev,

I'm not expert, but I don't think the dealer has any say in the Nissan rebate. I'm in the same boat as you. I don't think these have been selling as well as Nissan would like. Maybe they'll up the rebate in July...do I hear $2500???

Right now, all Mossy stores in my area (Oceanside, Escondido, etc.) are offering a total of $3000 off. $1000 of it is dealer cash, and the other $2000 is just the "Mossy" discount. I'm sure that's their cushion for negotiating though. Trying to tell you that you got the best price right up front.

Also on the window, the advertised APR is 1.9 % with NO MENTION of having to choose the rebate or the APR like I have seen at other dealerships in the past.
I'm pretty sure the 1.9 % is for all Titans at all the dealerships, along with the $1000.

A good source for more accurate information would be Prometheus. He recently became a salesman at Mossy Nissan in Oceanside, AFTER buying his Titan... he might know what rebates are in store for everyone.

Dealer Cash

Statesville Nissan in North Carolina is offering $3500.00 dealer cash plus the factory rebate. They are probably talking off of MSRP so that would basically but them at invoice or a little lower. May be worth a look if anyone in the area is will to deal with them.

Just bought mine under invoice a Nissan of Hickory in NC. After add ons I pay 27900.00 for an SE CC,4X4, Red Braun,Bed Extender, Tow Package. Thought I got a decent deal.
