Phoenix area meet?

Okay, you knew it was just a matter of time before someone asked this question. Anybody in the general Phoenix area interested in a get-together, say at the Scottsdale pavillions car show some Saturday night? I could contact the organizers and see if we could get our own small section if there is enough interest.

Sounds cool - i'm in the phoenix metro also - Mesa to be specific. Will this be for Titans with mods only?

Cheers

Good point...

Good point. I hadn't thought of that. I'm not sure what the rules are for being part of the show but I do recall something about there having had to have been some sort of modification to the vehicle (sorry, bad grammer). I would prefer not to exclude anyone and so maybe it would be better to stake out a part of the parking lot to the west of where the 'vettes usually park. I dunno - ideas?

I've left a message with one of the organizers asking exactly what the rules/restrictions are for participation. Once I hear back, we'll look at the next step. Anybody have a suggestion on how many we should have to make it worthwhile?

Our first get together was 10 possible and 5 showed plus one that was unaware.

The Chicago get together was 3.

I just spoke with someone associated with the Pavillion car show. While there are a bunch of rule exceptions of what can be in the show, we don't fit any of them (as a group)(mods or not). Bottom line - it's a classic car show and they do their best to keep it that way. The best we could do is to enter 1 in the special interest category. So much for that idea. Still, it would be a good place to meet and then disperse to enjoy the car show at will. Comments/ideas?

I'm into the carshow scene, and there is a weekly carshow in Gilbert every Friday, and it's alot more laidback. And anyone can come to the Pavillions, you just have to park in the back rows, but either way, I'm down for a meet, and to check out some of your trucks. Any of you AZ guys have exhaust work done yet?

Let's schedule this thing...

Sorry guys, didn't mean to drop the ball there but my computer crashed due to a nasty virus and I just got it up and running again. Due to other weekend obligations, the next Saturday night that works out for me is July 17th. How's this work for everyone else?
AzTitan, you seem to frequent the pavillions way more often than I do, when would be a good time and approximately where in the parking lot would you suggest? Tentatively until then... can't wait to meet some fellow Titaneers.
