I bought my truck used from a dealer and was all happy with it (still am) but i noticed on the brochure and on the commercial that they advertise a stock spray in bedliner.... why doesnt my truck have one? Can i get one via warranty?
The first Titan I looked at last year didn't have spray-on bedliner and side lockbox like I thought all Titans had. I then discovered that these things are "available" and not standard.

Bought mine without a bedliner. Ordered a "drop-in" through the dealership to be installed tomorrow, but changed my mind and decided to pony up the extra dough and get a good spray-in next week.

And I bet you'll be much better off. You'll probably wind up with twice as
thick a coating at 1/2 the cost.
My SE just came with the old drop-in plastic liner, which was extra, of
course. Hard for Nissan to screw that up!
Beware: drop-in liners rub down the paint then it starts to rust. BTW: I believe the factory sprayed in liner is only standard on the LE and is an option paired with the utilitrack on the other models.

I'm more afraid of those plastic rail caps. I had an 87 Chevy with an over
the rail bedliner, and it rusted worse on top of the rails than anywhere else.
The factory spray-in bedliner is part of the Utility Bed Package. With that package you also get the Utili-Track rails, the driver side locking compartment, 12 volt power outlet in the bed, and the lights at each side of the tailgate opening. None of these individual items can be ordered as a separate option, it's ALL part of the Utility Bed Package.

Just a question...As I previously stated, I am getting a spray in liner done next week. I do have the plastic top rails on my truck. Am I ok leaving those rails on and just having the bed, sidewalls, and tailgate done or should I take the rails off and have them do an "up over the top" type deal?

I was disappointed with Nissan's marketing hype once I got to the dealership and found out that only a few on the lot had the spray in liner. The information made it sound like it was standard on all trucks and even the magazine reviews made it sound that way.
However, I am not disappointed now because I had an under rail spray in liner using the ProLiner brand and several months later it still has a glossy sheen. Also it cost less to have it sprayed aftermarket than the cost of the Nissan insert liner.
Slider - I left my rail caps on. It's less expensive for the spray on liner, and it will also allow you to change the rail caps in the future it you need to.
After you have the spray in bed liner installed, they'll probably tell you not to put anything in it for 24 hours. I would go longer - don't put anything in it for several days, and let it sit in the sun if possible to cure. I put a plastic chair in mine after 2 days and it left a mark. Not a big deal, but FYI.
Personally I'd remove the plastic rail caps and have them spray the tops too. It looks just as good IMHO, and you won't have that plastic rubbing your paint off. Sand and dirt easily gets trapped under those plastic rail caps and you don't realize it till it starts rusting or you remove the caps.
Because of a lifelong fear of committment I got a bare bed and will probably get a mat for the bottom and thats all. The spray in is a one shot deal and you are stuck with it and anything that happens to it in the future. The drop in is better but water can collect underneath and it it would be harder to get it out and clean i only to put it right back in. Ergo the mat
