I am currently in the process of finding and negotiating the right Titan. But, earlier today while browsing through some posts I read two different posts that stated the AC does not blow cool air while in PARK. Also, a long stoplight will sometimes keep it from blowing cold air. Sounds like a neat feature for stop and go traffic in the summer heat. Has anyone else experienced this?
I live in hawaii man and trust me, it blows very cold. We have some of the longest stoplight waits in the nation.

I've had mine for about 3 weeks....don't do a lot of stop and go traffic so the system seems pretty good to me.....it cools my crew cab better than my wife's Accord does.........I think it does a great job....since it hasn't been under 100 in Vegas since I got it....
I have no complaints about the A/C in my truck. It has kept us plenty cool, even at stoplights. Even though my King Cab doesn't have the rear vents, my little ones keep cool as well. Keep in mind that some people like it cooler than others.

Not sure bout it not blowing cold air in park, but had to turn the A/C down a bit this weekend driving in 80 degree heat as it was too cold. I am 250lbs and like cold air blowing on me, but after driving for an hour with in 2 notch i had to turn it down to the 1st notch to keep from actually being cold. The wife had to turn her vents away from her or she was shivering. Coming from a Dodge Dakota who couldn't keep cold air in the cab for more than 2 minutes, the Titan blows the sweetest coolest air around. You shouldn't have to worry bout it being hot in stop and go traffic in the summer time.

I was the one that wrote that I dont have a/c when in park. I didnt know if this was just me and need to go and get it looked at. Which I think Im going to now. I went into 7/11 to get a slurpee for my wife, we left the truck running on max a/c came back out and it was warm as hell in the truck with warm air blowing. I guess I get to go and see the service department I like new trips.
I believe I read somewhere that when you apply a lot of throttle, some trucks disengage the A/C to improve the power... ?? Maybe if this is the case, there is a glitch in the computer making it disengage when the truck is in park. I don't know if the Titan has this feature or not.
I have noticed on mine that if you use the full defrost for more than 5 minutes, when you switch back to fresh air from the dash vents, the A/C does not turn off. The dash button shows it is off, but it isn't. Turning the A/C on and off at the dash control doesn't change it either. The air blows cold until the truck is turned off. It re-sets itself when turned off and is fine. Otherwise, my A/C runs very cold all of the time it is engaged by the dahs push button.
I frequently leaver the truck and a/c running for hours at a time when on a call and always come back to find an icebox inside. The a/c definately works in park. If yours doesn't, get to your dealer and get it fixed.

Mine blows cold air, but not until I get moving. Air has to be flowing into the front of the truck to get it cooling real good. Now once it gets going, it's ok, even when stopped or put in park. The big fan up front will come on but it seems to cool ok. But it does take awhile to cool off if you don't drop the windows to release the hot cab air and get moving right away.
The little vents under the seat (bench seat) seemed to blow cold air when I bought it, but yesterday I went out to check them out and they were not blowing anything. I was in park with the AC on high.
